Yale Project on Climate Change Communication Launches New Climate Connections Podcast

The Yale Project on Climate Change Communication (YPCCC) has launched a brand-new radio/podcast series called Climate Connections. This series focuses on how people are responding to our warming world. Each episode is a 90-second story, and will air 5 days a week for at least the next year.

Past topics have included El Niño, climate effects on coffee production, and political alliances between environmentalists and the Tea Party. This week’s posts include the comparison of global warming’s effect on the weather  to an athlete taking steroids, and the link between climate change and seasonal allergies. Next week, they will air a piece helping to clarify the distinction between climate and weather.

YPCCC is in the process of recruiting radio stations for broadcast. Currently, all podcasts are available online and via iTunes. More information, including a link to subscribe to the podcast, can be found at Yale Climate Connections.
